July: Disability Pride Month
Disability Pride Month is celebrated annually in July to commemorate the historic signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990.
The Mudbug Ball Committee hosts the event annually to benefit Easterseals Central Alabama’s autism therapy services. The event is a major fundraiser for the non-profit organization serving Montgomery and surrounding areas.
